Hi Everyone,
Im a new pepper grower from San Jose Ca. I made a mistake and am looking for some guidance. I planted some thai chilli seeds in a pot about 18 inches wide and 9 inches deep. I followed the instructions on the packet and for three weeks saw no groth activity in the pot. I then decided since there was no activity and since it was still new soil to plant a couple pablano pepper plants. They have thrived over the past two weeks and are growing very fast... but wouldnt you know the thai chillies started sprouting.
So my question is, is there and issue with growing the two different species in the same pot? Will my pablanos turn hot? Should i remove one species from the pot? If so, when is the best time to do it in regards to the plants maturity?
Thanks in advance for the advice!
