Open to all tips and pointers!

Hello all. This is my first time attemtping to grow peppers, whether from seed or otherwise, so I'll be hoping to find some good information here. If this season goes well, I may decide to try more exotic varieties next season. I planted on March 4 of this year, and so far, my white habs are doing the best of all, measuring at about 4 inches tall. The common habs are right behind them, and the slowest grower is the bhut.... which is fine, because I'm afraid to try it! Not sure if any of my Trinidad scorpions survived (I accidentally killed a couple of dozen plants about a month ago...oops). Anyway, any tips or pointers, feel free to share! Thanks!

Hey Bro' Ya in the right state for pepper growin' ! You may get tired of pickin' the White Habs. ! The Habs and Scorpions are in the Chinense Species. Most the country we plant our seeds on 1 Jan. you should be fine ! I am finding out that if you plant in the yard to plant more than 1. Well :welcome: from NC and yup I'm sportin' my Saints cap !

[sup]Thanks y'all! Yeah, mygrassisblue, I've heard that from a buddy of mine at work. His eyes got huge when I told him how many I was growing... he said "WHY?!?!?!?! Dooya realize how many peppers you're gonna have?!?!?!" He was right so far... the days are getting hot, and I can notice visible growth every day here lately. Not two weeks ago, my biggest white plant was about 2.5" tall.... now they're over 6". I see lots of hab sauce in my future![/sup]

There ain't no "hoping" about finding information here! This has to be the most informative site on the net, with rabid pepper growers!

Check out the glogs...Lot's of good stuff there from first class growing tips to ghetto growing tips. I'm not first class.

Welcome from MA, Phil.
