Orchids and planting depth.

My inclination is to say "no", as they can be sensitive to being moved/messed with at this point. Plus some just seem to want to be that way, even when full-grown. My son over-worried one and killed it in the process, which is why I'm inclined as such. But that's just one experience; others may disagree. 
 
I should note it's being moved anyway, as I know where the root system ends for both of them and they need to go in a bog pot this weekend.
 
I don't have any experience with terrestrials, but I think those two should have their "bulbs" ~2-3" under... if you are moving them anyway.
 
Grip a bunch of the growing medium around it and move it all together. Don't pull it out clean and replant it in something new. Orchids only grow when a specific fungus is present. This fungus should already be present on the roots, but this is also the reason you want to move most of what the roots are touching with it. It's possible the fungus has grown into that medium as well... which is what you want.
