Orchid's and such

very nice cattleya you got there. hope mine's will get that big also i have 4 which is still a baby considering the size of its leaves just more than 50 centimeters, bought it 4 months ago and it grew only half the size of what it is now. will wait for a couple of years to make it bloom.

whoa, that was a long away time for me, dont you think?

currently im really engross with growing tomatoes. probably based on the fact that its doing better than my chili plants.
Seedlings to pods within 1.5 months. That sure is something.

Without further waiting, a few pictures of my currently productive plant, the super snow white:-

The plant is podding up, as well as my other plant, Black Cherry

wow, you're lucky. my cherry tomato plant only has one good tomato forming and the rest never formed. even though i was pretty sure i managed to pollinate it with my electric toothbrush.

franz,

the trick is:-
1. get some shade and place them in a place where its really cool in the afternoons.
2. Get some seeds that more suitable for our region's temperature, like these :-

Snow white toms, came out yellow and it cracked in the rain. Plenty still on the way.

Newest variety to fruit. The black cherry.

Nice looking tomato's you have there....
make sure save some seeds :)
btw. also make sure they are not f1 hybrids. seeds saved from them might not form the same type of tomato as the parent.

The only Orchid plants we have now are Vanilla vines. Can't wait till they flower as if lucky and get pods will take almost a year till done.
