Osmocote

I tried Osmocote for the first time this year. Has anyone used it before? Seems pretty safe, and balanced.

Khang Starr (the guy I watch the most youtube videos from) uses a few pellets of Osmocote in his soil grows and it has boosted his growth greatly.

I love osmocote for a topsoil spread or mixed into soil. I find it to be one of the better non-liquid ferts.
 
I use floranova series mainly, but a few of my less watched outdoor plants get straight osmocote. It's easy And very effective.

I'm using it as well this year for the first time. I hear the Plus is better.

I got the plus. Was the same price per pound as the old stuff at HD, though Amazon has/had a discount on it too making it relatively inexpensive.
 
But my past experiences are with the old/standard version.

Khang uses osmocote. But he also uses hydro liquid ferts 90% of the time. And uses Osmo just to supplement the soil. Some of his plants last year where showing massive deficiencies with just the Osmocote. Talking about his outdoor plants

Thats what I was thinking. It not too much, and if you use good soil it seems ideal.
