overwintering Over wintered Reaper

I over wintered a one season old Reaper plant in a 7 gallon pot without pruning. Midway through the winter the foliage was so heavy the branches could not hold it up without support. I an now in the process of reintroducing sunlight to the plant. Should I prune it down or just let it go?  Thanks

If it is hardened off I would let it fly. Others may have different opinions.

That is a beautiful plant , but it looks like it will need a bit of hardening off.

I'm in the process now of hardening it off, very light sensitive, about 30 minutes max.
