Hey all. Just a quick question. How can you tell if the plants you dug up and brought in are still living?

Are they green?

Yeah they're still greenish color. Not black.

You're having trouble distinguishing a live plant from a dead one? Place them where they can get some light, water when needed and watch for new growth.

I treat this Butch T like a houseplant. Definitely, not dead. I actually had to trim it back since this photo was taken. It was about half this size when I first brought it in, in Oct. 2012. Did you trim yours completely back with no leaves?
