Overcrowded Danish Glog - More pics less talk

Hi out there! I thought i would try to make a glog this year!

I live in Denmark so i don't have the best climate for peppers compared to most of the people in here. Also i'm a student so i can't afford to buy lights, heatmats and so on. That's why i thought i would make a glog about growing chili pretty cheap without all the pro hightech gear.

I have little garden where i will try to grow my first outdoors chili. I have my windowsill where i can grow up to six small plants. And hopefully i can borrow a greenhouse from my parents in law again this year.

Since i don't have a heat mat i am trying to germinate my seeds in ziplock bags on the radiator. I have put far more seeds to germination than i have space for because i'm not sure how good a germination rate i will get. I can always give excess plants away.

Last year was a mixed succes. The plants i my windowsill grew really great but the greenhouse is a couple of km away, so i didn't water and nute the plants often enough. Of course that resulted in some plants only giving a few fruits a some plants no fruits.

Roughly i have started 160 of 31 different kinds. I am planning on keeping one of each 27 kinds 22 kinds, the rest will be given away if possible.

Now it's 9 days since i lowered the temp and now my sproutinings are looking a lot better. All in all 62 % have germinated, including the seeds i bagged 9 days ago!

Changing the temp. after approx. 12 days gives a two top chart :)

Happy Easter from Denmark

I don't this is supposed to happen. Has anyone else experienced variegated leaves on C. annuum "Chilhuacle Negro"?

I like the photo "table with a view".......plants are reaching for the sunlight. Bikes in the snow........that's a gas!

Things are growing a lot and the plants are starting to touch and shadow each other. I really hope spring comes soon, so i can move the pubescens and anuum out. That should buy me some space.

How close they are getting: The pubes and some chinense:

Some more chinense except from top right to left:

Thanks!

This is 2 of my C. pubescens i posted earlier. Mini Rocoto (Own F2 seeds) on the left and Peru Cusco on the right. I am really diggin' that Peru Cusco :)

This is a OW. C. bacattum "Aji Benito". Started flowering ind december without any artificial light.

I have ordered new pots size 13 x 13cm. Right now the plants are in 9 x 9 cm. I have decided which plants to give away and to keep. I am giving these away:
7pod Jonah
BOC2
Goats Weed
Naga Jolkia Tezpur PC-1
Peppadew
Numex Twilight
CGN21500 cross#1
CGN21500 cross#2

The ones i'm keeping are:
CGN21500 cross#1
CGN21500 cross#2

Chocolate Bhut Jolokia
Blondie
7pod yellow brainstain
Cappuchino Habanero
Habanero Naranja Picante
Cheiro do Norte (Mild)
Numex Suave Orange
C. Chacoense
Trinidad Scorpion Moruga blend
BOC1
Bhut jolokia peach
Habanero White
Berbere Coffee Brown
Chilhuacle Negro
Brun Rocoto
Mini Rocoto (X?)
Mini Rocoto F2
Rocoto de Seda
Rocoto Grande Picante
Rocoto Peru Cusco

So i will still have a pretty overcrowded windowsill :D

The weather is really good right now . I hope it will continue this way so i can get my annuums and pubescens outside. That's the plan anyway. I hope spring is here for good!!!

Now some of the Chinense's are in the bigger pots

The Pubescens'es are looking forward to a bigger pot too. But i have no more space inside, so i'll wait for nicer weather. Their leaves hang down like this every evening.

Cappucino Hab.

Cheiro do Norte

White Habanero

The first buds are starting to show!
White Habanero

Brown Rocoto. It's rather bald compared to some of the others. Peru Cusco is by far the hairest with stiff hairs everywhere :)

Thanks @ Sanarda

!"#¤%& I just read in the newspaper that this is the coldest april in DK for 25 years. ¤!"#@$ I want to get the C. pubescens out so i can them and the chinenses in bigger pots. But the next two nights are going to be with frost! I think i will take the 6 pubescens into the greenhouse this weekend no matter the temp. I'm tired of waiting.

Your plants look great! I love Rocotos. What is your Mini Rocoto a cross of? My understanding is that pubes won't cross with anything but other pubes. Is yours a spontaneous mutation?

Thank you!
I bought the seeds as "mini rocoto" also known as "PI 387838".
The pods on my plants are bigger than they should be and they are red instead of yellow/orange. That's why I think it has been crossed with another kind of pube with bigger pods.

How they should look
