Partial Pod Ripening, Wicked look

I love how my Caribbean Red pods ripen... The other day I was browsing around and found a pod that was ripening in an uneven way and the first thing that popped into my mind was it looked as if somebody had taken a blow torch to the bottom of it to the point where it was glowing red.

Heres the image I am talking about and below that a cruddy photoshop.

I also made a Cross between an Orange Habanero (Male) and a Caribbean Red Habanero (Female).

The pod contaning the seeds is almost ready to pick!

I cant wait to see what the result looks like! Has anyone ever crossed these two together before? If not, I'll post the results here when I grow them.
