This is a Brandywine Tomato that finally rippened, he's got a bunch of borthers almost ready too. But he was the biggest:

Only weighed it in my hand. But I just remembered I DO have a scale..stupid stupid stupid. I just started to dehydrate it and I didn't weight it. :banghead: :banghead:

I would say it was well over 1 pound....well over.
 
Some fantastic Brandywines there I.G always wonder about the flavor from the big toms..But gonna have to try some next year :)
 
That's a big honkin' 'thang IGG. Nice going. A little crusty bread, good olive oil, some sea salt and balsamic vinegar, and you have a meal to die for.

Looks great IGG. my tom plants are still only 3 inches tall so i have a long way to go to get to your stage.

But i guess when you are all in winter i will be posting pic's like that...:lol::P

They will Chiliac -- I picked about 15 that size last night alone :shocked: I am canning them for the winter -- these are very tasty and not a whole lot seed in them --
 
Nice looking tomato. I believe there are 4 or more types of brandywine tomatoes but that looks like a brandywine red

I did notice the lack of alot of seeds.

Great looking tom - are they very juicy? I usually can maybe seven quarts of whole toms but mostly just juice. Up to almost 14 quarts so far, including four quarts of white juice.

That's what my giant white ones are like. But seven of them give me almost two quarts of juice. The meat contains a lot of juice once it is squeezed out.
