Good growers have a habit of kickin mother nature on her butt, gardens looking good from here Paul, and great to see fruit. [emoji41]
Them peppers are picture of health, so will make the harvests so much sweeter buddy.
I'm sending  a very  loud "hell yeah " have a great 4 the July. [emoji106]

I think, I'm all caught up. Great looking plants Paul. Yard still looking good. Shade cloth is helping me big time. If I could just get the green house temps down. Lots of blossom drops from most of the Chinese. Keeping my fingers crossed for both of us.

I had a nice looking lawn this year. Even composted and added seed. I had a breakdown a couple weeks ago. LOL! I have to hand water every day. The work days got longer and the grass started dying. I gave up and now it's a beautiful brown color. The good thing is I don't have to cut it anymore. LOL!

I hope they get those fires under control. It is so dry out. I'm suprised we haven't had a big one yet. Ours are usually started by lightning. Tonight was the first time I've seen dark clouds. No rainfall though. Bummer.

Well, I see f***ing PhotoBucket has finally gone over the edge.
What a crock of s**t.  They want 40 dollars a month to allow
third party hosting of their images.  Not only that, they have
the most obtrusive ad structure on the internet.  I'm switching
to Imgur, but can't figure out how to link their images to this site.

Paul, your plants look amazing! Also, I'm sure you figured this out already if you're using imgur now, but if not, it's real easy to do. Click on the image, click on size you want, then select/copy the BBCode part, paste that into your post.

Thanks for checking in, my friends.  Hope all is well wherever you are!

I'm glad to hear summer is finally upon you.

Send me some rain...LOL
Thanks, buddy - I'd send some rain, but we
haven't had any since June 18!  Feels like we
finally have a summer, alright!

Seed pods and summer pods? Never heard of those terms before. What are those?
Seed pods are just the pods I select to save seeds from.
Summer pods are the pods that set after the first round
of runts.  In this climate, the first pods are always small
and runty due to the cold Spring weather.  Once Summer
gets here, the plants start setting real pods.

I'm getting all caught up on my buddies and you are my first stop, Paul. The plants held up well for you considering the weather.Your stretch of flowers and pods should be coming with all those healthy plants.Have a great 4th my friend.
Thanks, my friend.  At least the plants are still alive.  The
pampered second round plants look great, since they
didn't have to contend with the crummy spring weather
we had this year.

Bummer.  I hear that, buddy.  I'm holding my breath here, although the wet Spring we had may mitigate the onset of the fire season a little.  Things dry out so fast in the forest in the summer.
Keeping temps down in a greenhouse is tough in the
Summer, alright.  I have stopped putting plants in there
during the hot season unless I'm moving smaller pots in
out of a thunderstorm or high winds, etc.

Sometimes I wonder if a lawn is worth it, Charles.

Thanks, Peter.  I figured out how to upload from my own
computer files, so don't need Imgur after all.  I tried what
you said, but didn't see the size select option, so it didn't
work correctly.

Very nice pods Paul! What are your plans for them? Inquiring minds want to know... I hear ya 'bout photobucket.. I bailed on them last year for similar reasons. Hope you have a happy 4th! Anything good on the grill?

It is,  indeed, Tristen. Highs in the 82-91˚F (28-33˚C), no rain in forecast.
Lows at night averaging 55˚F (13˚C).

Still waiting for the real round of pod-setting to commence

Pretty darn hot, my friend.
Especially the BOC runts.

Gawd!  :flamethrower:

Congrats on the pull Paul! Those "runts" will eat just fine ;)

Sometimes I wouldn't have any if it wasn't for the runts...LOL
At least you have the patience to wait 'em out, my friend!
As for the runts, they make a great powder all mixed up,
but de-stemming is a pia!

I gave the bag to my neighbor so he could use them for salsas, etc.

Managed to grill two pork loins and some brats, and forgot to take pics

Nice work here, Paul! Good on ya for sharing runts with your neighbors.... May the pepper gods pay you back ten fold

Hey there paul, Sorry I havent been on in a bit to check in and say hey but things are looking great   Sorry about the heat wave I read about, we have only had one day above 90 so we have been okay. Ill be checking in a bit more now. Keep it goin man.

Will be following, take care!
Thanks, Uros!  The plants are finally at where
they should have been 6 weeks ago

Please don't apologize.  I am the worst visiting grow logs.
Just hard to be at the computer when the weather is nice!

Weather is good, if a bit warm. We're basically in the midst of
a 20-day stretch of sunny days with highs in 80's.

Thanks for visiting, friends.

Good growin' out your way

The Aji Amarillo have some nice pods.  The plant doesn't seem
quite as beasty and productive as last season, and has dropped
small pods in the heat, which is unusual.  But the pods that remain
are looking good:

Just for fun, checked out the average high temps for June and
July (since our last rain.) Temps rounded to nearest degree:

June 17-30:  75˚F (24˚C)

July 1-10:  85˚F (29˚C)

We are above 90 for the week Paul,I am thinking about pulling out the shade. You are getting some produce and still have a ways to go.Keep plugging away buddy.
I think that is a good idea, Randy. Ninety degrees is my threshold of
indecesion when it comes to shade cloth time. I have to admit, I was
thinking about how to build shade cloth frames in the back yard all
day today

Shout out to my friend, Ramon (WalkGood). Haven't seen him on
the forum for awhile, but when he shows up again, it's with a vengance!

Nice box of SBJ7.2 from Ramon's grow!

Thanks, Mon, you're a righteous brother \o_

Nice look My Amarillo. I really wanted to grow those. Got the seeds but started to many others.

That's a very nice gesture of Ramon. Nothing like fresh heat.
The Aji Amarillo is probably my favorite pepper.
Great flavor and not a face-melter. Excellent stuffed,
powdered, or on sandwiches. Thanks for looking in,
Charles!

The F5 'Wwhite Lightening' crosses are so dark, it's hard to
get a good photograph of them:
