Impressive list Paul looking forward to your grow
I don't know much about wilds next to nothing really only that they can be hard to grow / start
Nah, some are not that hard.

Pequin / Chiltepin types and c. chacoense
are relatively easy to cultivate.

One the other hand, some are bearcats   :banghead:

Jump in! The wild waters are great!

At this point, 1 each, except Tripaul Threat, Purple Thunder,
and Variegated Jalapeño, 4 of each in small pots.

Most will be grown in 3-gallon or smaller pots. The chinenses in
#15 nursery pots.

Still need to get down to 30 plants.

 Just what I need, an enabler!

Unfortunately I probably have enough
pots for 100 plants!

Let's hope for a great season here and in Italy.
We have both been through the wringer, with
the covid pandemic.I hope you and your family

38 varieties. Final answer. Hated to, but some of CD's

Ambitious list no matter how you slice it. I'll be following along as usual.
True that, Joe! I imagine there will be some no-shows
and attrition long the way to plant-out. I have mixed
feelings about that

The grow may not be as 'massive' as it sounds, since
all the wilds will go into 3-gallon or smaller pots.

The community grow stuff - Trippaul Threat v2 F3, Purple
Thunder BJh2 F4, Variegated Jalapeño - will amount to 12
plants in  #2 pots (1.5 gallons.) Trying to keep to small pots
for half of my grow just to make moving around and OW-ing
easier. I am always amazed by how much plant can be grown
in a #2 can!

I'm glad you will be checking in this season! Good luck in
your grow, friend, see you in your grow log!

My potted plants always look pathetic. Our extreme dry summer heat just cooks the plant roots and I just can not water them 3 times a day even if the plant wants me to. I have plenty of dirt, but with the dog I need to keep garden fenced and I am just not an ambitious fence builder. I'm gonna try one or two giant pots this year just to see what happens.

I still have never created a grow log. I am terrible at following thru and I'm afraid my glog will just leave too many loose ends. Also with a glog everyone will see just how unsuccessful I really am at growing things... Maybe I'll try it. This year I'm growing lots more common and less exciting peppers. Super hots are fun, but not all that useful for me because I simply don't have the desire to munch on anything that hurts that much (too often)

What did you think of cayennemist's pallet fence?

His pallet fence actually came out pretty good. But part of my fence project includes posts that are taller so that I can hang shade cloth and still walk under it

Sounds like the set-up Devv has.

I think you should. It doesn't have to be 80 pages long.
And it's just a good way to have your grow info, lists, etc.
all in one place. I look back in my earlier grow logs all the
time.

I have got so much help from people in my own GL's.
Sometimes I miss something that another grower brings
to my attention or they have great suggestions.

Besides, I have no life    Work over, kids gone. Glog on!
