You are so poetic. My reaction would be we're just screwed, oh well.
 
More weirdness. I removed Pi from my friend list, with the intent to add her back in. But when attempting to add her, it said I couldn't do so before at least 5 minutes had elapsed. Next thing I knew, though, I received notification that she approved my request. So now I'm on her list, but she's not on mine. I'm going to wait a bit then try again......

Edit - looks like it's working now.

Correct, there is a 5 minute delay if you are going to delete and re-add the same person. This is not a glitch.

However there appears to be one more glitch.

Turning off until fixed.
 
Should be fixed now. If you have friends on your page and you are not on theirs just delete and start over. There is a 5-minute delay in fully deleting. That is just to fix any errors from the past. Moving forward it should all be working.
