Edit: Never mind. I looked it up and there's something called the 'prime meridian'. Never heard of it before, but it's the line they use to define the Eastern and Western hemispheres.

Yeah, that was exactly what I meant in my post before the edit! It seems very ambiguous, but if you think about it: on a globe, if you continue that line it would go around. So the prime meridian and the antimeridian are actually just one line split at the poles. Interesting stuff.
