Pepper/Fruits

I wonder...If I were to still do this, and im not sure if I am or not, perhaps before dehydrating the peppers I could soak them in the pineapple juice or brush it on them that way you (hopefully) get the flavor without having to use the fruit itself. Also dehydrating will take out the moisture but again hopefully leave the flavor behind. Then what ever juice is left I can make a drink with for all the hard work ;)
