Hi guys, i got hold of some seeds which were believed to be the brown bhutlah.
 
Anyway to cut a long story short, my plant is spitting out lots of pods which is great, the pods are all green, and one one has turned yellow I assumed it would then go brown?

its now going soft like its starting to go off, or might do soon, it also looks nothing like a brown bhutlah!!
 
 
is this common, should i just leave it? it's not what i am expecting, here is a shot of the plant maybe you guys can say if its not the right plant

That's...not a Bhutlah.

What you've got there is some sort of annuum. I'd take the yellow pod off and give it a try.

Yup, I agree with Wicked Mike.

Really a shame that so many people get scammed (see it daily here) when it is so easy to get a hold of the real deals these days. Why would any person/business scam with fake seeds when real seeds are readily available to run an honest business? Boggles my mind.

I am not sure the exact variety you have, but it is an annuums and you will likely have something that will be tasty, even though it is not what you originally wanted.
