The tag said Serrano but pretty sure that ain't this...

Of course, I'm struggling with everything else but this mystery pepper is growing like weed,,,

The longer it sits, apparently. The smaller (in comparison) of the plant are not hot at all but as the sit, they get a little heat.

Looks suspiciously like cayenne in the second picture.

Even the 1st pic looks more like a cayenne than a serrano. The 2nd pic is definitely cayenne-ish. What is for sure...it isn't a serrano.

Yup, sorry for the rookie mistake.

I'll let them sit on the vine a bit (as suggested) and see what comes of it.

These continue to grow - big and green. No color change since the original post.

Trying to have the patience to let them turn red... but will they? Hmmm

Nope.

Lengthwise, they're now about hand size (maybe even a little longer) and about thumb width.
