Hi all, hope everybodys' peppers are doing better than mine.
my seedling are officially DOA. what a suckfest. you spend so much time caring for them, nurturing them and then they go bad.
germination rates were great but they just couldn't escape the seedling stage, just never grew and then they crapped out one by one. dang!
anyway, I hate to write off another growing season for super cool peppers, I mean its only June, so I'm just throwing out my hat in the request ring.
Any pepper growers out here in the western burbs of Chicago who might have a couple of extra plants they started from seed and don't have room for? I'd be looking for something/anything semi interesting/unusual. I'd certainly plan to pay whatever you'd ask and meet wherever its convenient for you. It would be nice to have some cool peppers to harvest in the fall.
anyway, short of that, has anybody seen any interesting peppers at local area green houses? I'm out near Downers Grove. oh and I don't really need more than a couple of plants.
thanks for any and all suggestions/offers.
happy gardening.
Kamo
