Pepper terminology help

So I've started to see things like "Chocolate Bhutlah SM", what exactly does SM or DM mean? It's been driving me crazy seeing DM and SM used so common and me not knowing what it means, any help would be appreciated.

Generally the initials will indicate a person or website that the variety came from.

WHP - White Hot Peppers
CP - Christopher Philips
SR - Sara Rennie
