Well.... I expanded my garden this year so I wouldn't plant my peppers in the same area I did last year. The new areas are horrid! Out of 50+ bell peppers, I've counted a total of 5 peppers worthy of picking once they're ripe.
My hotter ones are pretty pathetic looking. Of course I picked this year to go natural, no extra fertilizers etc. That was a mistake.
So, to sum up my pepper experience this year - Terrible! But I'm not giving up. I will try again next year.
My tomatoes are doing pretty good. Not as well as I had hoped for the same reasons above, but at least I've got a daily harvest.
One of my Roma plants was attacked last night by a huge caterpillar. It was still there this morning. Turns out it's a Tobacco Hornworm. I had to take picks.

There's 5 picks and I uploaded them from my ohone. They're big, that's why I didn't include them in the post.
The caterpillar is safe & sound out of my garden and in a container where I can watch it. I named it "Creepy".
