food Pepperized pickles

Something simplictic yet Awesomely Awesome !

I do this every 3 months like clockwork for myself and co-workers. 5 jars total (spears and chips), one for work is a gallon sized jar

Simply split your favorite hot pepper in half ( I use 3 Scotch Bonnets) for a 24oz jar of pickles .. dehydrated peppers work great also !

Remove some pickles (spears or chips) cram a few towards the bottom, a couple in middle and last but not least on the top.

Date the lid so you can keep track of time gone by.

Retighten lid and put in fridge for a least 1 month.
(....NO DO NOT TAKE ANY OUT >>> KEEP YER FRIGGIN HANDS OUT!)

Once a week simply give the jar a little shake to stir juices up.

At least one month later ... pop it open and enjoy on your fav sammich, as a side or with a nice cool Fav Brew !...which is Highly recommended.

ENJOY !!!!

My neighbor makes home made pickles from his garden, and when he wants some heat (ok...it's every time) he asks me for some peppers. He's digging the scorpion pickles, but makes some jalapeno for my girl. He gives me a jar and she devours them in no time! I am not a fan of pickles, but I love giving away peppers!

I usually add crab boil to 1 gallon jars of dill pickles and bring them to work. They last maybe two days. A couple of reapers would make it special
