Peter Pepper with STD!

Got a nice little variety of starts going, all are doing fine except for the Peter Pepper. It's not just one, but all three. One even died already. I give them water when they're thirsty and shade screen in the heat of the day. Anyone had any similar experience or any insight as to what might be happening with this poor fellow?

the leaf in the foreground looks like there are "leafminers"
in it maybe they have brought on the sickness

i had some on my malagueta in like spring time and just picked off the few infected leaves
and used neem oil every two to three days for like two weeks and they seems to be gone now
if i had that i would
try to isolate and remove the obviously damaged parts first
and start spraying for bugs and nasty bacterias

good growing

give it time all the plants will have it, if you don't start spraying they go after the weak plants first, mites are a bitch to get rid of.

I agree with mites. In particular, it looks like broad mite damage to me—the worst kind of mite.

mites are a bitch to get rid of.
That's an understatement.

Hit 'em and hit 'em HARD, kauaidundee! They are indeed brutal, they are relentless and they will very quickly destroy one plant after another if you don't take care of them swiftly.

I can't stress this enough: Hit. Them. HAAAARD. ;)
