Peter peppers

I just got some Peter pepper seeds in the mail. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with them. I am sure they will be as easy as the other plants I have, but was just asking.

I have grown the Peter Pepper a couple of times....sunny spot in the garden ...treat as you would most other pepper plants......i would rate the heat as mild.

Thanks sizzle lips. My wife wanted me to grow these. She thought they were a riot and wants to sell them when she does her craft shows.

I am growing them for the first time this year too. They were funny, and my aunt has a large set up at the local public market, Im pretty sure they will sell well HAHAHA if not for anything more than a show piece.
 
When people see them growing in your garden ....the first thing you hear will be giggles and laughs.
 
I grew them a couple of years ago. Very easy to grow. Never used them much. Flavor is your generic pepper flavor similar to tabasco. They have LOTS of seeds. I gave a bunch away to little old ladies who just had to have one to show their friends. lol

Mate, you have to grown them. A mate of mine grew them a few years ago, they go great, pretty easy stuff. I tried harvesting some seeds from his plant, but none of them worked. Next season, these babies are on my grow list! going to get some seeds myself At some stage....

These are on my grow list for next season too.
 
Pretty sure they all have the resemblance of a wee wee. That's why the name suits it well. This is my first year growing them and from what I have seen in my research, they are quite a bit less than a handful HAHAHAHAHAHAHA (Pun absolutely intended)
 
I'm growing quite a few plants this year. Two experienced growers told me they're absolutely delicious and with thin skin that makes them great for cooking, drying and munching.

Peter Piper's pickled peter peppers that peter piper picked were in fact Peter Piper's peter peppers, and not pepper piper's pepper pickles that peter piper picked for pepper piper's peters!

I'm growing them for the first time this year and I'm just about to find out how anatomically correct they are, as the first two flowers have just set.  First indications are they're somewhat deformed, but it's early days.  If anyone's got any really good shaped ones, I'd love some seeds for next year...
 
In answer to the OP's question of whether they're easy to grow: yes, very easy, from my experience so far (seed to setting first fruits.)  
 
 
 
CAUTION! Do not grow near C. annuum, Vagina Bell Red!
