How big of a deal is ph when growing in containers?? The potting soil I'm using is 5.5-6.5, and the tap water is about 7.5, is this o.k.??
 
Test the soil Ph by itself. In general, soil has many minerals that buffer the Ph of the water so water Ph may not be important.
