I ordered a mixed SFRB from John Ford at http://www.fordsfieryfoodsandplants.com/
He threw in some non-superhots. The brown/black (I don't recognize dark colors well) reddish thick Cayenne type pod intrigued me. John told me it was a Pimente de Neyde x Bhut f6. With the "bhut" in it, I was afraid of the heat, but it was far from a superhot. It did have excellent heat though and it was DELICIOUS—the most delicious pepper that I have ever tasted. The oiliness caused the intense flavor to linger. It's hard for me to describe the exact flavor as I've never experienced it before. My best guess is some kind of exotic berry - maybe a wild blueberry, lacking the very sugary features that humans have bred into the modern commercial varieties.
I saved some seeds - I may need to buy some more indoor grow lights soon!
