Pineberry Plants

I'm thinking of planting the numerous and healthy runners that are branching off my Pineberry plants with an eye to selling them. For those that haven't seen the Pineberry yet, it's a beautiful white strawberry with red seeds, they have an amazing and unique taste (similar to pineapple). They're very rare and are impossible to get outside of a few garden centres in the UK. If you like strawberries (and lets face it who doesn't) then these are a must have.

I'm just testing the waters here, if enough people are interested then I'll do it, if not then I'll just plant a few and keep them for myself. So, would anyone be interested in buying a Pineberry plant? Price will probably be around £5-£10 per plant including P&P. Due to costs this offer is only available to UK residents.

Hey mgib, I should have mentioned, I will be shipping to the states, I'd better add that to the main post. I'm just looking into the best delivery options presently.

Unfortunately as I had not realised sending plants internationally was such a lengthy and costly process I can't offer worldwide shipping anymore. As such I have no choice but to give up on this idea for now, sorry Dude + anyone else who might have been interested. If any UK members are interested please send me a pm. What a shame, I might have become the biggest, sexiest strawberry runner this side of the badlands :party:

Sorry Dude, I wish I could but I've been reading everywhere that the seeds from the Pineberry will not grow true Pineberry plants, I presume its not yet stable, that's why I was going to just plant the runners to sell, but the best laid plans and all that :violin:

If you really want I can sell you some seeds after the first fruit has come through and you can test for yourself whether it works but I personally would not recommend it because I don't think you'll have much chance of getting Pineberries at the end of it, but it's your call mate.
