Pink Tiger---Pod Color Question

I'm growing Pink Tiger for the first time, and I'd like to know what to expect for pod color as they ripen. The pods started solid purple. What colors will the pods turn and how will I know when they are ripe?

Mine went from a deep purple to a light purple with some vague and I mean vague white streaking . You will know they are over ripe when they soften up a little .

Ripe ones . I was not impressed with the overall color but the creator keeps saying you have to fertilize with osmocote to get the proper striping . I ain't buying it . But it is a beautiful plant none the less .

Thanks Romy. My pods look just like the ones in your pictures. I agree, it's a very attractive plant with deep purple leaves.

I have one, and I'm going to fertilize it with osmocote and see if the pods come out properly.

As romy mentioned. There's a very vague striping
Mind you I got seeds from pods myself. That had stripes

My seed source..
you can see before it goes pale... it already has the stripes

That's just the sun... no photoshop

Higley doubt this grower used osmocote. .. he would've told me

Mine are just plain purple so far as well. Probably one the tallest plants in my garden as well but not a very big producer

The creator was an Italian called Enrico - "Mojo Peppers" well worth a look at his website his photographs are awesome and he has plenty of hybrid ( unusual crosses) seed for sale

Nice pictures KINGDeNNIZ. Thanks for posting. I haven't seen any yellow striping on my plants. My plants are how D3monic describes them---purple pods, tall plants, not very productive so far. Anyhow, attractive purple leaves, so the plants are good looking.
