Yea your plants are looking great mon!
I visited Hawaii a few times, came darn close to moving there after leaving Jamaica but the position I was looking for was never appropriated :/ Nuff about me, was wondering with such awesome weather and soil why you start out in aerogarden?

Yea its really nice here... The one i grow in aerogarden stays there, and seedli gs i just use them for light... In my area i got clay soil... They dont grow big thats why i use container's.. Sun is to hot for my seedlings.. So i let them get 2 set of leafs before showin them the Hawaiian sun

A few years back, like 27..yeah old guy here:) The land was a few inches of clay and then iron ore, kept adding leaves, compost and anything organic I could. Grew fantastic gardens there. The people that bought the place were amazed.

You have the climate, we would all die for, rain, and warm sunny weather. You can build the soil and really kick some azz, my dirt grow far exceeded my container grow. And I gave both my best effort this season. Your used potting soil would be a great start. Here I'm the other way, adding heavy soil and compost to sand. Sometimes you gotta make your own soil ;)

Just trying to inspire! As I know you can grow all year round..

Loving your work so far!

Just gotta add more of my 2 cents, I'm sure you know about Tejas heat....as soon as a seedling stands up, it's in full sun. I wait for them to stand up because if they are just hooking, I see more helmet heads. Temps are usually 75-85°, if in full sun day one and kept watered they kick.

Not telling you how to do things, just sharing how I do..

Once again..Loving your work so far!

Ramon. For me it's a plug and play germ station. If you lack the time to attend to them... It's the easy fix. Plus if done right can make your own tray and start 20-30 seedlings. Plus with the lights attached. Saves space. JMHO

You need to grow his JA habs jeric. At least for me it was bushy and each node has like 5-7 buds.

Looking good pare. I'll be sending your seeds soon.

Rocks red habanero sauce rocks too!!! I finished it in 3 days. And it usually takes me forever !!

any 2cents is good for me...i would love to fix my clay soil..but time is limited to for me...ive been adding diff compost and soil any kind to make my clay to be decent for my plants, but before that my yard is full of hawaiian chiles in clay soil and they grew 5feet high with tonssss of peppers...im still on my trial and error for my super hots on my clay soil..my yard is full of worms so they help my roots in the ground to breath...

yea i usually put them on the sun right away so i dont need to worry about hardening them all the time...ill keep all your 2cents in mind

Hi Jericson! I got your envelope in the mail today. The powders smell wonderful... I'm gonna give them a taste after I try out one of your Hawiian Bhuts. Unfortunately only the one pod made it... the rest were pretty mushy. I think the package froze when it was on its way here. Good thing you packaged the seeds and powders in separate ziplok bags. ;)

You've got an ambitious grow going, I hope you're able to get them all to harvest before your work schedule pulls you away from them again. Hope you and your family have a great T-day!

Dang I had a few seeds take 6 weeks to pop, I just leave them be. They will pop sooner or later if the seeds are good.

Have a great Thanksgiving!

What they said ^

A little mas … I long boarded in the parish of Portland and meet a pepper farmer there, we hung out surfing and talking at or near Boston Bay and he provided me seeds. I grew dem seeds while living there, in fact I thought they were Scotch Bonnet per what he told me till I later figured that they were some cross and thus the name JA Hab for Jamaican Habanero. PM me your addy if you want some ...

Side note, not worth a Hawaiian to go there to surf but they do have some great waves which are very hidden and some are hard or dangerous to get to. Their best being on the South coast of JA (not Portland as it's more of a longboarding wave) and those are the ones you must short board to small gun on largest days. BTW I truly enjoyed all your waves there for sure … Oahu, Kauai, Maui … I tried to hit all your best breaks and got lucky on both visits. I was treated very well by the locals and went to some local parties, saw some nice pepper crops and totally enjoyed my extended stays, hehe.

Hab an awesome Thanks Giving mon!

Hi Jericson,
I tried some of your #1 powder blend in a breakfast sandwich yesterday, and it's da bomb! You can really taste the white wine and rosemary in with the smoke and peppers. Good burn too, but not overwhelming. I can definitely see using this as the spice blend in savory things like pork sausages, white beans, eggs and cheese.

Nice looking seedlings in your Aerogarden... keep the pics coming brah!

now im questiong myself if ill transfer my aerobabies to soil, or just prune it every time, to much hustle for me right now to transfer it and all the hardening and shock for them babies lol...

and heres a tons of volunteer in the corner of my yard

and my small babies sharing light from my aerogarden since theres no sun for the last 2 days

and some of my other babies just hiding inside the shelfs

and i dont know whats wrong with this one, the whole plant is flimsy, i have no idea which deffieceny she got

and the rain start pouring again

You've got some great looking plants going brah, no lie! The one that isn't doing well for you right now looks a lot like my Yellow 7 that has an Aphid problem right now, so it might be infested with aphids or mites instead of being short of nutes. You'll need at least a 30-power lens to spot the mites if they're there. Cheers!
