Placenta covering the walls ?

Is this topic a question about whether the placental tissue does indeed cover the inside walls? If so, yes, with superhots like the Bhut Jolokia, Douglah, Trinidad Scorpion, Brain Strain, etc., the placental tissue, since it is so high in capsaicin, stretches over the internal walls of the pods to provide pockets for the oils to go.

I would also say that the placenta material can surround the inisde of a seriously hot pepper. Any time I have seen a more than average, bumpy pepper, like with my morugas and brain strains, I found the same thing. A couple of morugas I had last year were much more "white" looking on the inside than the ones in the picture. It was light colored throughout the pepper and even thicker looking than the ones in the picture. Tom
