seeds Planters Pride seed starting kit.

I bought a planters pride kit with heat mat. Has anyone used one before with good results? I started some seeds yesterday. It is keeping them warm. Hope not to warm. House is around 70.

There are optional thermostats with a temperature probe you put into the soil. I've got one on the way from Amazon for $25.

i'm using the same kit, and a thermostat seems like a really good idea. I'm getting temps close to 90 after leaving it on for 8 hours...

only 4 days and I have Jalapeño M seed sprouting with the Planters Pride Kit without thermostat.

Nice. No need to have your fluorescents on right now though. Wait until things actually come up and then they need to be transplanted separately. They'll be too leggy how you're doing it.
