for-sale Plants for sale

The box without the 4 way splitter is from Refining Fire Chiles and the 4 way divided box is from chileplants.com.  There were 24 plants all between 5-8 inches tall in the box from chileplants.com and 12 in the box from refining fire chiles.  Shipping cost for 24 plants via UPS was $26 and the 12 plants via USPS was $18.50.  Not a single plant was damaged on either shipment.  These were regular cardboard boxes using box partitions and damn good packing.  I betting you could get something like it from here http://www.innerpak.com/

Chileplants.com uses the little cardboard tops over each plant and refining used tape, both worked well.  I think this is probably the only way to ship, trust me I was a delivery driver for UPS in college and Ive seen what can happen to packages.

Plus 1 to this mentioned method on shipping. Anytime I've gotten plants from J Duffy that's how he has done it amd each time they have arrived in nearly perfect condition with barely any dirt loosened and out.
He has them carefully packed in and then does masking tape from the cardboard bottom up the sides of the plants/plastic planters locking them firmly in place. Lastly, he used clear shipping tape on the top slotted cardboard pieces that go just above the dirt/plug. Kinda sorta closing up the area around the stem so the plant cannot jiggle too much side to side as well as limiting the amount of space for dirt to fall out even if (when) the shipper turns it over.

Just a follow up. I was able to keep some of these plants alive long enough to get some pods.
There were some issues on IDs since the plants were mixed up during shipping and then the
IDs I was given in the sale thread were accurate except for color. The monster Chocolate Moruga
was a winner and the Red 7 Pot was scorching hot so thanks much Scuba_Steve !
