show-off Pods cracking/splitting..... pics

Yeah I had that on my tomatoes outside last year.  If I had a blushing or red ripe tomato it would split if I didn't pick it before a rain storm.
 
Agree with previous post, due to a sudden onslaught of water.  Peppers generally arent as [SIZE=10.5pt]susceptible as tomatoes are.  Good news is they are still ok to eat, dry them puppies out and make a powder, or make a hot sauce.  [/SIZE]

This happened a lot to me last season. I watered only twice that season, lol. It just rained too much. However, it wasn't as severe as that. I agree it's probably getting too much water.

I have never had this problem with peppers but I have had this problem with tomatoes. It is usually caused by inconsistent watering.
