Are the seeds in pods still good if the pods were in the fridge for a long time or does that kill the seed.

I will second that. Frozen seeds will NOT work.

I have had no problem with refrigerated seeds, but pods in the frig. may get moldy- NOT GOOD.
I like to wash the pods in the sink with a few tablespoons of Chlorox, rinse cold and let dry on a towel.
Deseed and let airdry on a plate & paper towel for 48 hrs. Place in zip locks or small paper envelopes,
then in small spice jars or pill containers (we ol' farts have plenty of 'em) . Store in a cool dark drawer
or in the frig.
