Pollination bags

Hi there,

Now that I'm hunkered down for the Winter with my mother plants established, it's time to look into "best practices" for proper pollination isolation techniques. I hope next year to start producing my own seeds, and I want to make sure I keep my strains pure. Since space is at a premium, the only practical way to ensure that cross-pollination doesn't occur is to use netting or pollination bags.

so, does anybody have experience with these, and a preferred vendor? There seem to be a fair number of plant breeding supply outfits offering these products, but where to start?

See this thread. He used gel caps for isolation. Inexpensive and seemed to work quite well.

Nice idea -- thanks for the link! It's avery practical solution for plants cultivated indoors (outside, things would get all melty pretty quickly.) Until Spring comes, I have time to give this a shot. After that, I need to figure out bags.
