Does anybody use Preen in their gardens? If you do, how effective is it at controlling weeds?

Preen for garden weeds?

I used to use it until I went all organic. The key thing to remember is that it is a preemergant so it needs to be put down before the weed seeds start germinating. I would normally put Preen down about the first week of March, then reapply in June. It does a good job but you need to remember that it is full spectrum so anywhere you put it down you cannot grow any plants from seeds.
