Hmmm, I've never heard of/seen them grow pointing up either, sounds like they may be quite variable like the De Arboles. Did you grow the ones that you said had no heat, or did you buy them at the store?

I grew them from seeds from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds (www.rareseeds.com).
