question for the DWC guys

I've seen several posts of guys starting peppers in a DWC set up with 6 of those 3" baskets in one container. My question is how do you get them out of those little 3" baskets and into the larger ones when it is time to put them in a 5 gal bucket of their own when they are much larger? Or do you just leave them in the 3" pot forever (seems too small for a full grown Chinese).

This is truth. I've grown a couple large plants in 3" baskets. I find that once they reach a certain size, they get a little top heavy, but a little reflective tape helps stabilize them.

I currently have my pepper plant in a 3" basket and as scratchzilla says, once they reach a certain size they will get top heavy. What I did to mine was tied a couple of strings around the plant and some railing that it's next to it to help support the plant. It was really much more of a wind issue with me where the wind caused the plant to lean a bit though.
