I use 3 grams to 1 quart RO for the mix but keep it sealed until needed and only use enough to soak the seeds in.  I find a shot glass works well.  After 24 hrs remove any floaters and toss them, the rest are likely viable.

Still depends on the seed as with everyone else.  Most superhots are 7 to 9 days.  Bell's in much less.

Yeah, my chinenses germinate within around 10 days, max.  Considering the long growing season, 2-3 extra days to germinate is meaningless.

This seasons Reapers and Choc bhuts from pukkerbutt  took 6-8 days to hook at about 30C.Soaked for a few hours in weak tea and straight into seed raising mix
