overwintering Quick question about wintering

Heya all,

I have looked, and done some searches on here, but i haven't found anything related to what i would like to know.

We are coming into winter here in AU, i live in Adelaide, but the question i would like to know about is, cutting back the plant.

I have read that alot of people cut back the plant, and cut back the root system, and put into a smaller pot. I am just wondering how people go about it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Regards

Luke

Here's where I cut back the top and the roots and repot in a smaller container. The trick is to find the right conditions to keep them semi-dormant for the winter or you'll have to cut back again as I had to and you're likely to have aphid problems as I do.

And here's 5 months later and repotted back into 5 gal container
