Quick question

Not sure if I should post this here or in growing hot peppers, but...

Have any of you heard of garden salsa peppers or mucho nacho jalapeños. Are these just gimmicky names for sales? They don't sound real but I could be wrong.

Shane (stc3248) is going mucho nacho jalapenos (block out several hours of your day and check out his glog). I believe they are a variety that grows larger (and milder) than standard jalaps. Haven't heard of the other one, but it could just be a trade name.

My next door neighbor bought a garden salsa pepper at HD.
It has grown like crazy and is setting big pods. The picture
on the tag shows green and red peppers, but I haven't seen
any ripening, yet. Don't know about the taste/heat, yet, either.

Most of my pods are 8-10 inches long, but as you said none have ripened yet. I have tried one. They taste like a hot green bell pepper. Not super hot. Probably just shy of an average jalapeno
