So I just figured out one of my plants from the summer was an inca red drop...but that leave s me with trying to figure out what was the one I thought was the red drop...
Unfortunately I don't have any pics but it was very skinny, long smooth pods up to about 2" that ripened green to bright red. None of the peppers were as thick as a pencil. The plant was dark green with long skinny leaves. White flowers. I have no idea what it was so if anyone has a thought let me know.

Yup I figured that one out, was a mystery all summer. But now the mystery is the one I mistakenly thought was an inca red but was most definitely not.

Not sure what your other plant was without a pic

Well by what you had said it does sound like a thai chile but i could be wrong

Yeah didn't think of snapping a pic at the time. One more thing that I learned. Will be making profile pics for all the plants I grow this season.

if your skinny, 2" red pod isn't a variety of cayenne, then you may wish at looking at pics and descriptions of both chile de arbol or japone, see if they match.

The plant itself was wrong for a cayenne. I will take a look at pics
