smoking Record Set for World's Longest Smoked Sausage

Did anyone see this on the news? They made a 429 yard smoked sausage weighing 330 pounds. I'd like to see the smoker they used. I'm sure there is pics or video if you do a quick google
 
429 yards damn thats long! I wonder how they dealt with the casings, I thought you'd have to have it all on the machine at once, cuz IMO if you stopped & added then spliced the links back together then could you really call it 1 sausage ?
 
In Bucharest! I guess David Klose didn't make the pit--He's a "celebrity" in the world of bbq pit making, and made one for the TV show "BIG". Check out his website, easily found by searching his name. He has made a beer bottle smoker, a Continental Airlines Plane smoker...wild stuff!
