Red Chile peppers from Publix.

Trying to get this pepper in mash form so when I launch I can make larger batches. Currently at Publix listed as Peppers Chili Red. I have talked with the manager of the stores and a district manager who cannot tell me anything outside of where they get it from a North Carolina distribution center.

I have talked to a local copacker that I know who is also trying to find the mash version of this and he is also having trouble.

In talking with some mash providers they said red Chile peppers is to generic to get the exact one.

Below (if I did it right) you will see the pictures.

Any help would be awesome and if you know where the mash form is and you are correct I will send you a bottle of my sauce your choice on which one. (Been driving me nuts for a few months this now).

I thought that as well but a few weeks ago the Publix produce manager said no.  Should of listened to my research skills.

Okay: ShowMeDaSauce, Chorizo857_62J, luvmesump3pp3rz, sirex, DM me the address you want me to send you some of my hot sauce and which one you want.  Currently 9 flavors.  I am out of a couple of them but making some more of all of them. I have 1.7 oz sample bottles and 8 oz bottles.

sirex I have thought about it but I do not have the space to do that.  When I officially launch I will be using a friends certified kitchen.  He does have some space for me but not enough for that.  My overall goal is to do this full time and have my own place and equipment.

*If you check out my FB page you can see the different colors and what each sauce looks like*

The flavors I have currently are:

Promotable (Frescno Peppers :P and peppers)
Green Machine (Jalapeno Peppers and spices)
Zesty Lime (Cayenne Peppers and spices)
Out Front (Cayenne Pepper and spices (the original sauce)
Insanity (Habanero and spices)
S.E.R.E. (Habanero and Carolina Reapers)
Spike Knock (Habanero and Caroline Reapers plus spices)
No 8 (Carolina Reapers, Habanero and spices)
No 9 (Carolina Reapers and Habanero my hottest sauce)

That's a great price on Fresnos, at least compared to $8.99 - $9.99/lb here.  Suddenly I miss Publix (and their Cuban sandwiches).  I bought one Fresno pod at a local QFC store this spring and grew 2 plants, which have turned out great with strong production and perfectly on-pheno.

Good luck with finding a supplier Dash.

Or if you would like I can send 2-3 of the 1.7 oz ones.

Thanks CaneDog.  I used to live near Seattle as well in the Lacy area.  They were expensive in their peppers with SafeWay up there.
