Its taken until November but finally i have managed to harvest some thoroughly ripened Red Savina peppers. They are lovely deep blood red
and a small one sliced open.
They can actually go much darker shades of red but i simply don't have the energy from the sun any more at my northerly latitude... some of my smaller first wave pods where left on the plant simply because i didn't want to eat them, they ended up going a maroon red.
