Looking good Red, question is that grass or is that straw? That your using in there... Not a problem just curious...

Thanks buddy. To answer your question, that is grass clippings. I use them as mulch and as a source of organic material and nitrogen.

Wow great looking plants how many is that?

In the large bed, the total will be 110 (missing a few at the moment) and the small bed is going to be 80 plants. Only two more large beds and all my buckets to go........

Looking freaking fantastic bro. Some of the neatest garden beds I have seen yet. Any secret amendments in the soil this season mr Redtail??

Nothing real special this season. I was lucky enough to be a vendor near a fellow selling mycorrhiza inoculum. He gave me a few free samplers so I'm going to be trying his mix out on the last raised bed. Will advise.

Beds look amazing. Someday I hope to have some real space to grow like that.

Just curious, how do you harvest the pods from these guys? Do you have lie on your back and crawl under them when they get huge?

Looking good.  That's a lot of plants!  Do you have any frutescens going this year?

Yep, I'm growing a couple wild frutescens like Duke Pequin.

LOL! Normally by the time they have a closed canopy between the rows, I'm able to push them aside to walk in between them. I always enjoy hiding in between rows so the kids can't find me!  ;)
