Reminder helps member remember that he hasn't remembered to post

I'm from Idaho, the North West U.S. and moved to Switzerland over 22 years ago. I was frustrated to find an Indian pepper they call a Piri-piri used in the Mexican restaurant, the Thai and Chinese restaurants, basically.... wherever someone needed to serve spice, the piri-piri was used. This is mainly done because it's cheap and the swiss don't typically have a clue about peppers, heat or hot peppers.

After years of searching for something hot enough to surprise me, a friend from England came to Switzerland with his newest effort at making me respond. He did. He had found this site and ordered two wonderful bottles of sauce (sudden death & Mad Dog 357) with the coolest keychains (loved the bullet with the little spoon). It blew my socks off!

I subscribed here as a member with the hopes of one day sharing/selling/competing or whatever with a home made BBQ sauce and a lovely combo I made for meatballs that burn up real nice.

However, 11-12 years later... I have not gotten around to doing anything but trying to keep the account open for that day that might arrive where I DO enter a contest.

THP sent me a warning message that if I didn't post something, I'd lose the account. Well, THAT wasn't going to happen if I could help it. But, it's been so long since I last visited, I'm discovering I can't access the store without paying a membership fee. It looks like any previous purchase info is gone as well. I've come back as a stranger alright.... and feeling even more like one now.

Changes are bound to happen. But, this wasn't quite the experience I remembered before the member's reminder to post. So, here's the post...

But, it would have been cool to visit the store and see what I've missed out on in the last decade without having to pay a membership fee, IMHO.

On Fire,
Perhaps it's bad memory, but I thought I had actually purchased the peppers sauces that arrived here... from THP. But, I remember a "online store" where one could check out all the available product for order via photo and product information. Have I lost my mind completely? Or is there an existing online THP store to purchase still from?

We never had a store like that. Way back when we had a partnership with hotsauce.com. That's all I can think of but welcome back. :D

AH, YES!
Forgive me! Yes. And all these years I had thought the two were synonymous. When you say "way back when", would this be about 12 years ago?

And thank you very much for the welcome.

Yes, I did take forever!!!!

But, I'm an admin of numerous 3d/SketchUp/Thea FB groups and know.... don't post unless you have something to post. This was out of necessity to keep my foot in the door to the desire of one day doing what I've always wanted to do but found no time. :-)

Yes, Hogleg.... how appropriate.
