Ok so i am new to the sauce making game my latest batch turned out too thin after bottling, so i am going to reduce it a little bit. Is there any reason i couldn't use the same bottles the sauce was in provided the sauce is packaged properly again?
That should be ok so long as proper canning processes are followed, such as sterilizing the bottles prior to refilling, turning the bottles upside-down after filling so the seal, etc.
Depending on the lid, if it has the plastic liner in it, that can't be sterilized. You can't re-use those types of lids. I'm thinking of the small plastic lids for woozy bottles.
Jars/bottles are OK to re-use, following DuvallDave's notes.
