Repotting shock?

So I decided to move some of my plants out of the ground because the dense clay soil was chocking off any decent growth. I decided to pot them in a mix recommended in the sticky thread. The apply named "5-1-1" mix since it was simply and easy to acquire. Thats five gallons pine fines, 1 gallon sphagnum peat moss, 1 gallon perlite, and a dash of lime. I was wondering is there anything to be mindful of when transplanting pepper plants from the ground to pots? Any sort of problems like transplant shock?

Also, anything to look with the mix, seemed a little light on good organic material. Any sort of ferts or amendments recommended?

Thanks!
