Repurposing a 10x10 popup canopy

So I had an idea to use a 10x10 popup screen room canopy......
 
Seems to be OK and gives 20- 50k lux of light through the canopy all day.

I'm surprised shade screen is necessary. Hawaiian sunlight too intense?

It is for the sun and to keep pests down. Oh and wild pigs out.

White Flies are friggin insane here. Have to stay on it 7 days a week.
