What was a hobby for me last season is turning into a farming venture for me this season, I've already got takers of local BBQ, Mexican, Asian, and Italian restaurants for some fresh peppers when those are ready.  I'm set up to grow year round right now with my indoors aquaponics and hydroponics as long as I can keep them aphid free...I will probably shorten my variety list next year and focus on bulk of a few specific types that the restaurants are asking about like white habs, thais, ghosts, and scorpions.(I say that now but I already have 80 varieties in my seed library XD)
 
I think what I'm mostly after is just some supplemental income even though I'd love to do it full time.
 
As far as my own sauces etc. that's more of a hobby but I've been selling to the guys at work and it sells out the day after I make it. :D.
 
Farmer's market day should be interesting too, like a lot of rural areas I'm not expecting to get a lot of takers for the supers but I may be a little surprised.
